New at restaurant Vinkeles; the Vinkeles Patio

Vinkeles now offers the opportunity to enjoy your aperitif outside on the new patio.

On beautiful hot summer nights you can even enjoy dinner outside in this elegant addition to our restaurant.

Reservations for the Patio are subject to favourable weather conditions. We only assign tables on first come first serve base.

Vinkeles donates to “Extraordinary ones”

On May 12th restaurant Vinkeles will start with collecting for the charity fund; "Extraordinary Ones". For each meal in the restaurant 20 cents will be donated to this charity www.extraordinaryones.com. All donations will be 100% contributed.

The reason for our support is simple? This is a good way to contribute the fight against world hunger; the 20 cents will provide a meal for a child in need.

Full speed ahead in renovated kitchen

Finally, our new kitchen is a fact.

The dust is gone and the smell of novelty has been replaced by the smell of funds, fresh vegetables and grilled fish. After a rebuilding of just three weeks, the kitchen now runs as never before. We can serve the guests even better than before. The "piano" is replaced by a new induction stove and there is a lot of light and new equipment.

Celebrate the re-opening of restaurant Vinkeles with us

Chef Kuipers and his brigade are enthusiastic as the construction of the new kitchen is almost completed.
During week of  the 25th - 31st of January we would like to offer our guests of restaurant Vinkeles a sneak preview in our new kitchen and a glass of champagne to celebrate this special occasion with us.

Major renovation of Vinkeles' Kitchen

From the 1st of January until the 24th the kitchen of restaurant Vinkeles undergoes a large renovation. Due to this the restaurant will be closed.

Restaurant Vinkeles receives Michelin Star

Restaurant Vinkeles situated in The Dylan Amsterdam receives acknowledgement for hard work.

Since the appointment of Executive Chef Dennis Kuipers in 2006 the restaurant turned into a new challenging direction. The Chef's dishes are a combination between the classic and contemporary French cuisine and are regularly described as: "refined, exciting but also modest".

General Manager René Bornmann reacted ethusiastic: "The Crown on investing for four years, but mostly a great motivator for the future. This is a reward and appreciation for the entire team".

Presspresentation of Dutch restaurant magazine was a great succes

On the 9th of November the press presentation of the Dutch restaurant guide "Lekker 2010" has taken place in The Dylan Amsterdam. Executive Chef Dennis Kuipers and his kitchen team were together with our partners responsible for a successful afternoon.

From the organization we received a thank you word in the latest newsletter:
" Without the Veuve Clicqouot Bubbles, the dedication of the Dylan & restaurant Vinkeles brigade, the juicy meat from Nice To Meat, the fresh fish of Schmidt Zeevis, the perfectly burned nuts of Gotje, the refreshing water of Earth Water and the "Je T'eme" dresses it has not been such a perfect event. There for, dear sponsors: THANK YOU"

Seen the nice words of gratitude, all the media attention and the increase of 10 places to the 49th position in the top 500 of best Dutch Restaurants, it has been a true pleasure to host this event.

The Dylan Amsterdam Netherlands Leading Hotel

The Dylan Amsterdam has been voted 'Netherlands Leading Hotel' at the 2009 World Travel Awards for the second year in a row.

Described by the International Herald Tribune as the 'Oscars' of the global the travel and tourism industy, the poll this year was the highest in the World Travel Awards, 16- year history, with over 170.000 industry professionals casting their votes for what they consider to be the very best travel, tourism and hospitality products and services in Europe.

General Manager René Bornmann commented enthousiastic: 'We are extremely honoured to win this award for a second year running and this is a real testimony to the hard work and efforts of our fantastic team. We hope to carry on from strenght to strenght as the leading hotel in the Netherlands for many years to come.'
